John Matthews and Toshihiro Fujii on Event Horizon

Telescope Array collaborators John Matthews and Toshihiro Fujii were recently interviewed about the Amaterasu Particle on John Michael Godier's Event Horizon, a science- and space-driven YouTube show. During the interview, the two physicists talk about ultra-high energy cosmic rays, the ways that we're able to detect them, and about the mysteries surrounding them that we're still working to solve.

The interview focuses a lot on discussing the basics of cosmic rays and cosmic ray research, but also specifically discusses Dr. Fujii's discovery of the Amaterasu particle and what this means for the field.
